Teal Tidings - January 2012
There's no time like the present for going green. Whether or not you're making resolutions, reinforce good habits and positive behaviors or try a new eco-friendly routine. Here are a few ways to start 2012:
• When a light bulb goes out, replace it with an LED one
• Mulch your live Christmas tree. There are many locations available to drop it off.
• Don’t let the tap run while washing hands and face, brushing teeth, or shaving.
• When packing a lunch, opt for reusable containers for food storage instead of wrapping the food with aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
• Don’t go anywhere without your cloth bag!
• Leave a cup and reusable bottle for water at work to eliminate buying drinks.
• If there isn’t an office recycling system, start one yourself!
• Lower your office’s carbon footprint by seeing computers, monitors, printers, copiers, speakers and other business equipment to their energy saving feature and turning them off at the end of the day.

We hope you have a wonderful 2012. Like us Facebook or follow on Twitter for daily green news you can use and share. Maybe we’ll inspire you to inspire others.
